The Best Marinade for London Broil
INGREDIENTS: 4 large garlic cloves minced 4 Tbsp balsamic vinegar 4 Tbsp fresh lemon juice 3 Tbsp Dijon mustard 1 1/2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 Tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp dried thyme 1/2 tsp dried red pepper flakes 2/3 c olive oil 2 to 21/2 lb London broil In a bowl whisk together marinade ingredients until combined well. Put London broil in a large resealable plastic bag and pour marinade over it. Seal bag, pressing out excess air, and set in a shallow dish. Marinate meat, chilled, turning bag once or twice, overnight. Remove marinated London broil from bag and discard marinade. Grill the meat as usual. When meat is done grilling remove from grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
