One of the famous north indian sweet dish...usually i prepare them with home made paneer, this time i have completely changed my way of preparing with ricotta cheese...i baked the ricotta cheese in oven n soaked them in thick badam milk with few strands of saffron..shall we go for the recipe...
1cup Ricotta cheese (250gm)
3tsp Sugar
1/2tsp Cardamom powder
1cup Low fat milk
3tbsp Almond powder
1/2cup Sugar
1tsp Cardamom powder
few strands Saffron
Mix ricotta cheese, sugar n cardamom powder..bake them at 350F for 20-25 minutes..insert a toothpick, if they come out clean, put off the oven...let them cool for few minutes...once they get cooled, cut them as any shape as u desired...
Meanwhile grind almond powder with few tablespoons of water into fine paste..heat milk, sugar, cardamom powder n saffron strands, bring them to boil..add the grounded almond paste to the hot milk..put the flame in simmer, let them cook for few seconds...Keep aside n let them cool...
Add the already baked ricotta cheese pieces to the badam milk..dont disturb them atleast for an hour...Serve them!!!!
