Egg 65, an easy recipe which is simply hard boiled eggs marinated with a handful of spices blended together n fried in oil as shallow frying...its simple, tasty, spicy n very good side dish for any type of rice dishes...very tasty side dish for lunch menus too, can prepare very well even for picnics as side dish...another different way of preparing egg dishes..here we go..
4nos Boiled eggs
3/4tsp Fennel seeds
4nos Shallots
5nos Garlic pods
1tsp Red chilly powder
1/4tsp Cumin seeds
3tsp Cilantro leaves(chopped)
5nos Curry leaves
1/4cup Corn flour
Salt
Oil
Slice the boiled eggs into two equal pieces...grind finely together fennel seeds, shallots, cumin seeds, red chilli powder,curry leaves, cilantro leaves, garlic pods with little bit of water in a mixie r food processor..
Transfer the grounded spices to a plate n add the corn flour n salt as per need..mix together to get a thick paste...roll the each n every pieces of the egg in the thick spicy paste..keep aside for half an hour..
Heat oil in a pan..once the oil is hot put the marinated egg pieces n fry them in simmer, oil should cover the egg pieces.
Dont put directly the yellow yolk side in the hot oil coz they may splutter..fry first the white yolk side, turn them slowly until the yellow yolk side gets well fried...they may splutter while frying..once they r fried , arrange them in a tissue paper n drain the excess of oil..
Serve hot!
