Homemade Granola
INGREDIENTS; 2 Tbls. butter
1/3 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup honey pinch of kosher salt 1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups Fiber One Original Bran Cereal 1/2 cup instant oats 1 cup assorted dried fruit- dates(diced),cherries, cranraisins 1/2 cup crushed almonds
DIRECTIONS; In a large microwave safe bowl, mix together the first 5 ingredients and microwave on high for about 1 minute. Stir well, then add the remainder of the ingredients and stir again to combine. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the granola mixture evenly onto the sheet. Preheat oven to 300 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Serve alone or over ice-cream.
