Ingredients
1 tablespoon of salt
1 pound of linguine
3 tablespoons of butter
2 ½ tablespoons of olive oil
3 cloves of garlic
1 pound of very large shrimp
½ lemon zest
¼ cup of fresh lemon juice
¼ lemon thinly sliced
1/4 cup of chopped parsley
Hot pepper flakes
Pepper and salt
Directions
Boil the linguine according to package—about 9 minutes. Meantime in a sauté pan melt butter and olive oil, add garlic. Saute for 1 minute be careful not to burn garlic.
Add the shrimp and pepper.
Saute until the shrimp have just turned pink.
Turn over and remove from heat, add parsley, lemon zest juice and slices and the pepper flakes.
Toss everything together.
When the pasta is done drain and add to shrimp tossing until all is coated.
Serve immediately.
